Cantina Zaccagnini Tralcetto Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Well rounded, full bodied, fruit scented with gentle tannins and a hint of oak.

This wine comes from the DOC classified area of Abruzzo, Italy. The grapes are grown in vineyards in Bolognano. The wine is bottled after four months in oak barrels. Montepulciano wines are known for their dark colour, gentle flavours and soft tannins. Best enjoyed young!
This wine has a deep ruby colour with notes of red fruit. It's a full bodied wine with gentle tannins. In keeping with tradition each bottle is decorated with a small piece of the grape vine, known as "Tralcetto", tied around it's neck.
Pairs well with pasta (obviously), beef, pork and seasoned cheeses.
Serve slightly chilled (16°C).
